Background introduction

The rotary arm single twisting machine is a kind of twisting machine in the cable equipment. 

The function of this kind of equipment is to twist a plurality of round copper wires into a mechanical equipment with the torque required by customers.

The cables come out from the pay-off rack from left to right, gather together through the hub, and then rewind through the speed difference between the cantilever and the take-up reel, 

the cantilever rotates to form a twisting moment, and the take-up reel arranges the cables horizontally. Finally rolled into a plate


1.Multi-strand pay-off rack: each strand of copper wire is automatically paid off to the hub through the pay-off rack (active or passive pay-off).

2.Hub: Where multiple strands of copper wire come together into a single wire.

3.Cantilever: When the cable is wound from left to right, the cantilever rotates around the horizontal centerline of the take-up reel, 

thus forming a twisting moment. The cantilever is driven by our EA200 series high-power servo.

4.Reel: The take-up reel consists of two parts, the first part is the rotating part of the reel, which is driven by our EA200 series high-power servo. 

The second part is the reel cable arrangement part, which is driven by our small EA180 series servo to move the reel horizontally.

5.There is also a speed measuring encoder device in the system, and the control system controls the take-up line speed to be constant by this device.

1. The X1 input terminal is the servo enable signal, and the servo can run only after the enable terminal is valid.

2. The X2 input terminal is for forward/reverse switching.

3. X3 input is fault reset.

4. AI1 is the analog speed reference of the servo.

5. EA and EC are dry contacts of the fault feedback relay.

6. A+ and A- are 485 communication terminals, and the PLC reads the current speed in real time through this communication port
