During the operation of the inverter, it outputs large power, consumes high energy, and generates a large amount of heat. In order to enhance the working performance of the inverter and extend its service life, installation should be carried out strictly in accordance with the inverter's user manual. At the same time, The basic installation principles and installation methods of the frequency converter should be followed for installation.
Most semiconductor components are used in the inverter unit. In order to improve its reliability and ensure long-term stable use, the inverter should be used in an environment that fully meets the device specifications.
1. Temperature and humidity
When installing the frequency converter, the ambient temperature of the frequency converter should be fully considered so that it must not exceed the allowable temperature range of the frequency converter. Usually the temperature range around the frequency converter is between -10℃~+40℃. There are also certain requirements for the ambient humidity of the frequency converter. Usually, the ambient humidity of the frequency converter should be between 45% and 90% without frost. If the ambient humidity is too humid, it will not only reduce the insulation, but also the metal parts are prone to corrosion. At this time, you can reduce the ambient humidity by placing desiccant, heaters, etc. in the control cabinet of the inverter; if the ambient humidity is too high, Low attention should be paid to the impact of static electricity on the inverter. Air with appropriate humidity can be blown into the inverter control cabinet from the outside to increase the ambient humidity of the inverter.
2.Installation location
The inverter should be installed in an environment that avoids direct sunlight, no dust, no oil, no dripping water, no corrosive gases, no flammable and explosive gases, and no vibration. If the above environmental conditions cannot be avoided, inverter control cabinets with different functional structures can be selected according to the different working environments of the inverter to make them suitable for different working environments. If the inverter is not installed in a working environment that meets the requirements, it will often cause premature aging and failure of the internal components of the inverter or abnormal heat dissipation.
3. Anti-vibration
The inverter cannot be installed in an environment with frequent vibrations. If the vibration is too large, the fixing screws of the inverter may become loose, components may fall off, and the solder joints may become welded.
4. Altitude
In practical applications, the influence of altitude on the inverter is also obvious. The inverter should be installed in an environment below 1000 m above sea level. If installed in an environment with a higher altitude, the output of the inverter will be affected.
