In the past, the paper towel packaging machine was controlled mechanically and equipped with four sets of servos to achieve packaging
There are many problems with using this scheme:
▶ Long-term use of machinery has wear and slippage, causing errors;
▶ The control is single and inflexible, and the maintenance cost is high. Once other types of packaging specifications are replaced, more mechanical molds need to be replaced;
▶ The speed of mechanical packaging is limited, and the speed of large packaging can only reach about 60 packs per minute.
Therefore, in this case, mechanical upgrading is more important. The sinusoidal electric automatic square scarf packaging machine uses
15-axis electronic cam curve control instead of the previous mechanical cam control, which is even more important. At the same time,
the electronic cam curve is flexibly modified through the host computer. It can realize the packaging of other paper towels of different specifications,
the packaging speed is greatly improved, the system operation flexibility is higher, and the maintenance cost is greatly reduced.

1. Electronic cam curve planning and electronic cam logic control
The system uses multi-axis electronic cam position synchronous control, using a virtual master and 15 slave-axis electronic cams.
▶ Process curve planning, each axis action point and travel record, and each axis curve is designed separately.
▶ Combining the electronic cam curves of each axis, the 15-axis cam curves are coherently matched through the phase offset of the master and slave axes of the electronic cams.
▶ Cam curve switching, according to the change of packaging specifications, the cam curve changes dynamically.
2. Material handling control program and inverter control program
The purpose of material sorting control is to separate the paper towels at a certain interval through the material sorting parameters and enter the packaging.
Material sorting control is divided into three parts: material sorting 0 frequency converter, material sorting 1 frequency converter and paper feeding transmission shaft.
Material 0 and 1 separate the paper towels according to the distance through the speed difference. When the paper towel touches the photoelectric sensor,
a series of conditional judgments need to be made. By detecting the current angle of the paper feeding shaft, different speeds are given by the angle material 0 to enter the material feeding.
Paper shafts, so as to avoid the paper towels hitting the rods, ensure that the paper towels are in the middle of each rod, and fold a paper towel in a cycle.
3. Design of film pulling control program and probe error adjustment function
Film pulling control consists of: film tearing axis, film virtual cutting axis, film feeding axis, and breaking axis
Film feeding shaft: fixedly feed the set film length.
Breaking axis: synchronous electronic cam control with the feeder, when the feeder reaches a certain angle, through the cam superposition compensation,
the breaking speed suddenly accelerates, and the speed difference is formed, thus breaking a film length.
Tear axis and imaginary tangent axis Purpose: to make imaginary tangent on the film length.
Probe function: By installing a color mark sensor, the actual film length and the set film length can be obtained through color mark detection.
If there is a deviation due to mechanical slippage, correction and compensation can be performed.
▶ The control system adopts the sinusoidal Ethercat bus type servo system, the wiring is simple, and the 15-axis synchronous cycle 1MS high-speed communication operation greatly improves the overall computing ability.
▶ The control system is powerful and rich in functions. The cycle time of the folding program algorithm is 1 millisecond, and the packaging speed can reach 120 packs per minute.
▶ Using 15-axis electronic cam synchronous control, high flexibility, easy for workers to use By adjusting the curve and correcting the trajectory, various packaging specifications can be realized.
▶ Easy maintenance, simple mechanical structure, no previous mechanical cam control, simple control, one-build start-up.
